A Personal Year is the vibration that colors any given calendar year for you — calculated from your birth month and day plus the year you want to read (defaults to the current year).
How the Personal Year is calculated
Reduce your birth month to a single digit, reduce your birth day to a single digit, and reduce the current calendar year to a single digit. Add the three results and reduce one more time, preserving the master numbers Eleven, Twenty-Two, and Thirty-Three. The Personal Year shifts every January 1st, and many practitioners notice the new vibration beginning to assert itself in the final weeks of the preceding calendar year.
The Personal Year sits inside the larger nine-year personal cycle: a Year 1 begins a new cycle, a Year 9 closes one, and the cycle repeats indefinitely throughout a life. Knowing where you are in the cycle is often more useful than knowing the year's number in isolation.
The nine personal years, in brief
